Just recently I was diagnosed with Uveitis in my left eye. I had previously been diagnosed with it and my left eye just flared up again this year. have a few issues I could really use some help with. The family car that I have been driving wasn't in my name but I was still covered on the insurance until one day I hit a mailbox with the passenger side mirror. Anyways, then a couple weeks later a different family member (not the owner) had a little bit of a bigger accident when an animal suddenly appeared in front of the car forcing another accident. The insurance cost is something like $158.00 per month but now they want the owner to add about $50 or $60 more per month EACH for the 2 people that were excluded because of the accidents.The car payment is about $415.00 per month and the insurance was $158.00 per month for just the owned which does not even drive the car at all but now they want an extra hundred per month for those 2 excluded drivers if they want to drive that car. I am in quite a situation, I financed a 2004 Ford Mustang 40th Anniversary Edition car from a local car dealership in South Carolina. When I got my loan they told me my payment would be 261.00, I told them I wasn't familiar with what sort of insurance I needed and they offered to set it up for me. I have recently passed my driving test and whenever I get a quote from a car insurance company it it always over 3000. I have tried putting myself under my mother's name as an additional driver but I still get the same outcome. I know people who are the same age with same car and have been able to get their insurance for a little over 1000. To begin with, I was going 111mph in a 60mph zone. It was dumb and stupid, I know. Normally I would pay just $125 every 6 months for car insurance but now I'm wondering how much it will increase. One call centre takes your name and your date of renewal They pass you onto Call Connections Ltd who ask you about your age, address etc. Then they say we have xyz insurance companies who want to quote for you, sir ( note this is before they have any car details ) They then pass you to one insurance company to give you thier quote. Once that call is ended you bounce back to Call Connections who pass you to company number 2 etc etc I hung up. whoever devised that business model wants shooting. Surely no-one will put up with that ??
